The session will start with an overview of the approaches to supporting ICT CPD adopted within Vital (http://www.vital.ac.uk/) before moving into a more interactive mode in which participants will be asked to identify what they consider to be the areas of greatest need in terms of ICT CPD and strategies for addressing those needs (in a context of restricted cover and tightening budgets).
Delegates are encouraged to bring along their laptops/netbooks/iPhones and other internet enabled devices so that they can:

• tweet, blog and generally ‘be connected’ throughout the session


• explore the Vital Community Website (http://www.vital.ac.uk/community/)


• share their thinking during (and after) the session via the Vital Community Wiki/Forum
